Just released is the teaser trailer for the long-awaited cinema debut of Steve Coogan’s best known character Alan Partridge. Alan the focus of a number of very successful television series, first appeared as the sports presenter (with no sports knowledge) on Chris Morris’s spoof news show, The Day Today. Alan went on to host a chat show and then after an unfortunate incident live on air was dispatched to the backwater that is Norfolk local radio.
The trailer gives little away in terms of plot but is pretty damn funny. Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa hits the big screen on 7th August 2013
