Almost slipping under the not so ever vigilant Moviescramble radar is the new film from Spanish director Pedro Almodovar. I’m So Excited sees Almodovar go back to a comedic film for the first time in thirteen years following a string of critically and commercially successful thrillers.
The film centres around a Mexico bound flight that runs into mechanical trouble. To distract the passengers from the problems the flight crew employ a number of special techniques including song and dance routines, Alcohol, drugs and a psychic. The trailer is light, snappy and gives an enticing glimpse of the fun to be had.
I’m So Excited hits screens everywhere on 3rd May.
