Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is released on August 1st, 2014. It’s (obviously) another comic book franchise brought to the cinema screen, but I must admit to never having heard of it / them.
When the first trailer was released earlier in the year, it took me by surprise; I wanted to watch this movie immediately! Perhaps it’s because I had no preconceived idea over who the characters should be, or how they should act. Perhaps it was simply that the trailer looked fun, and very tongue in cheek! Regardless, I wanted to see it.
A few hours ago the second, fuller, trailer was released and you can watch it below. The film has a stellar cast from Chris Pratt (Her, Moneyball, Wanted), Zoe Saldana (Star Trek, Avatar), Bradley Cooper (The Hangover(s), American Hustle) to big-hitters such as Glenn Close, Benicio Del Toro, and Vin Diesel who underline how big this could be.
Right now it feels as if it has everything going for it. Watch the trailer below and tell us what you think – does Marvel have a new Avengers on it’s hand, or will this be another Elektra?
