Last week we got a glimpse of Ben Affleck as Batman in the upcoming untitled Man of Steel Sequel. This week, we get a title as Warner Bros has officially named the film Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The film by Zack Snyder also stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. The title certainly feels like a nod towards the announced Justice League film that will also be directed by Snyder.
Plot details are unknown but with principal photography starting today in Detroit, expect leaked set photos to surface online soon.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release on the 6th of May 2016
