There may be spoilers in this article. There may not be, it all depends on whether the news is true. Nevertheless, you have been warned.
It’s hard to believe that Star Wars: Episode VII is just over a year away. Official news on the film has been a closely guarded secret, but that doesn’t stop rumour circulating the internet and the newest one is very enticing.
Movie site Latino Review has suggested the film’s main villains will be the Inquisitors, who will be introduced as defenders of the Sith Order. If the names sounds familiar, a character named the Inquisitor will feature in the upcoming CGI animated series Star Wars: Rebels. Similar named characters have also previously existed in the Star Wars EU.
If that isn’t exciting enough (and I imagine it is), the site also claims that there will be a flashback that shows the Inquisitors working for none other than Darth Vader.
Now, whether this is rumour, speculation, lies or the holy truth, it’s still exciting and guaranteed to whip fanboys into a frenzy.
I don’t exclude myself from that.
Directed by Abrams Star Wars: Episode VII will open in the UK on 18 December 2015.
