Every so often a film will come along that just makes you go, “What the fu…” as your jaw hits the floor. With companies such as the Asylum raising the bar with the Sharknado series, it gets harder for filmmakers to impress with sheer entertaining lunacy.
Enter Timo Vuorensola with Iron Sky: The Coming Race. The film is a follow up to his 2012 release Iron Sky (review here) which informed us that the Nazis, having fled Germany at the end World War II, have been hiding in a secret lunar base on our own moon.
If you’re going to do a sequel to that, you need to up the ante. Iron Sky: The Coming Race finds the President of the United States, Sarah Palin (yep), flee underground to escape the fallout of nuclear war. There she uncovers a vast lost world with Adolf Hitler riding his pet dinosaur. Oh, and Palin is a reptilian shapeshifter.
I bet David Icke will be watching this one with particular interest.
Iron Sky: The Coming Race is currently being crowdfunded through Indiegogo and is slated for a 2016 release.
