Hugh Jackman took to Instagram this weekend to heavily hint that he will be playing the part of Wolverine in one more film. He has recently been discussing the fact that his tenure as the popular X-Men character would come to an end at some point in the near future.
Jackman first appeared as Wolverine in the first X-Men film in 2000 and has reprised the role in six subsequent movies. It is widely expected that he means to lose the claws after the forthcoming third Wolverine film currently scheduled for 2017. What this means for his involvement in next year’s X-Men: Apocalypse is unclear.
