A publicity angle that is unique and interesting is becoming a rare commodity. The team behind the forthcoming cinema release of Under Milk Wood may have come up with this summers best campaign. A Caravan of Love will be turning up a several UK festivals this summer to promote the movie which features Rhys Ifans and Charlotte Church. The caravan has been designed especially for festival with a screen and a five seat porch with wind break, a Jazz quartet playing excerpts from the film’s score and readings from the original Dylan Thomas play.
Festival goers will get the opportunity to see a special ten minute preview of the film. The will also be in with a chance of winning the keys to the caravan for the night and a screening of the entire movie. The director of the film, Kevin Allen, as well as others associated with the production will be on hand for intimate Q&A sessions.
The caravan can be found at the Latitude festival from 16th to 19th July, Port Eliot from the 30th July to 2nd of August, The Green Man from the 20th to 23rd of August and Festival No.6 from the 3rd to the 6th of September
Under Milk Wood is released in cinemas on the 27th of October.
