Some of the doubts cast about the validity of bringing the character of Derek Zoolander back to the screen have been assuaged by the release of the first trailer. After the recent appearance at Paris fashion week, we literally go into the mind of the non ambi-turner himself. Narrated by a Stephen Hawking style voice, it is a perfect way to reintroduce the character without giving away any of the plot details.
What is known is that as well as Ben Stiller in the title role, Owen Wilson will return as Derek’s one time rival Hansel. Filling out the cast are Will Ferrell as the main evil dude Mugato, Olivia Munn and Kristen Wiig.
Zoolander 2 is released on the 12th of February 2016.
