It’s May 1945 and the Germans have just surrendered. A group of German POWs were handed over to the Danish authorities and tasked with dangerous work – dig up their own land mines by hand.
It doesn’t sound a barrel of laughs but Martin Zandvliet’s gruelling drama promises to be a highlight of the Glasgow Film Festival.
Land of Mine is showing as part of the Glasgow Film Festival with screenings in the Glasgow Film Theatre Sun 21 (15.30) & Mon 22 Feb, 2016 (10.45).
