In association with Soda Pictures we are offering the chance to win a copy of The Library Suicides on DVD. When famous author Elena Wdig (Sharon Morgan) commits suicide, her twin daughters, librarians Nan and Ana (both played by Catrin Stewart), are lost without her. Elena’s final words suggest that her biographer, Eben (Ryland Teifi), murdered her. One night, the twins set off to avenge their mother’s death at the National Library of Wales, but are disrupted by night porter Dan (Dyfan Dwyfor), who is unwillingly caught up in the saga.
Directed by award winning director Euros Lyn, and based on Fflur Dafydd’s bestselling novel, this offbeat thriller explores the secrets and lies at the heart of storytelling, and asks who truly has the right to tell the story. The film had its world premiere as part of the best of British strand at the Edinburgh International film festival and was in competition for the Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature Film and the Award for Best Performance in a British Feature Film.
