The Heritage Of Love -Trailer

heritage-of-love-1The Heritage of Love, a beautifully shot love story set in war torn Russia , is scheduled to open in cinemas across the UK on December 2nd. The title will also be having its’ UK Premiere as the opening film at the inaugural Russian Film Week on November 30th, as part of the special UK/Russian Year Of Language and Literature.

The film begins in Russia during the last few days of the Tsar’s rule. Vera and Andrey fall in love, but it is a romance doomed by the onset of war. By a twist of fate, nearly 100 years later,  a new Andrey is still looking for Vera in contemporary Paris.

The film stars Dima Bilan, who is a huge name in the music world in his native country, and who sang the winning entry for Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest, 2008 with his hit ‘Believe’.  This is his first acting role, alongside Svetlana Ivanova and Aleksandr Baluyev.
