Growing up in the UK, the only comics I was ever really exposed to were The Beano, The Dandy and later on Eagle. Had I grown up in the US I suspect I would have been nose deep in Spiderman, Batman and co. from an early age; however as it was, I only knew these characters for the Saturday morning cartoons and serials.
