The Gang’s All Here!

The gossip mill around Episode VII has been rolling pretty solidly this year. We have the involvement of JJ Abrams and Harrison Ford confirming he’ll be back. Now hot on the back of Carrie Fisher announcing that she would be reprising her role as Princess Leia in George Lucas dropped this bit of info when he was interviewed by Businessweek.

“We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison—or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation. So I called them to say, ‘Look, this is what’s going on.’ He pauses. ‘Maybe I’m not supposed to say that. I think they want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do, but we were negotiating with them.”

So it looks like Han, Leia and Luke will all be back with their Zimmer frames! I just hope it works as two of them are not renowned for their sanity in later years!
