Ending two years of speculation since the show finished, Entourage creator Doug Ellin used twitter to announce that a film spin-off will go ahead.
Simply tweeting “It’s a go. love you all,” along with a photo of the main cast, the announcement is likely to be welcomed by fans of the HBO show which ran for eight seasons.
The story followed A-list celebrity Vincent Chance (Adrian Grenier) and his close friends as they lived the Hollywood dream. The show is most fondly remembered for Jeremy Piven’s show stealing role as Vince’s foul mouthed agent Ari Gold.
With no plot details to go on, speculation will be rife as to what to expect. Can it survive the transition to the big screen? Many have failed, but there are exceptions. As a fan I hope this is one of them.
