If there was any doubt about it then the new Star Wars trailer has proved that an image can say much more that a thousand words. We are so familiar with the concepts and the recurring characters that there is almost no need for dialogue to tell the story. To emphasise this YouTube user timgonzales.com has taken the latest trailer for the Force awakens and stripped out the dialogue, leaving the visuals and the music. If anything it makes the trailer even better.
With a variation of Han and Leia’s theme timed to accompany the Millennium Falcon in flight and the final notes echoing the main theme of the series, it is powerful stuff and just ramps up the anticipation for the full on spectacle in December.
