Just released is the first trailer for the highly anticipated film from the acclaimed director Christopher Nolan. Dunkirk is a well-known story and a low point for the British Army. This was the point at which the initial British forces, which had arrived in France to fight the Nazis, were forced off of continental Europe. For the Allied forces it was a logistical nightmare as there were too many troops and very few boats available to transport them to relative safety.
Christopher Nolan is a director who make films on a grand scale. With each new film he becomes more ambitious with the scope of his work. From the initial teaser trailer it looks like he is going all out to create a a real spectacle. The film features the acting talents of Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh. It is also notable as the acting debut of Harry Styles from One Direction.
Dunkirk will be released on the 21st of July 2017.
