Made for a mere $11,000, the new psychological thriller, Observance gets a UK release. In the grip of grief following the death of his young son, his marriage on the rocks and nearing bankruptcy, Parker (Lindsay Farris) reluctantly returns to work as a private investigator. Embarking on an unusual assignment to observe a woman from an abandoned apartment, Parker witnesses bizarre and terrifying happenings surrounding her, oblivious to the dark presence threatening to consume him.
Observance is the second feature from Australian filmmaker Joseph Sims-Dennett. The film has been shown to critical acclaim at various film festivals including the Fantasia Festival in Canada and The BFI London Film Festival. It will gets its UK DVD premiere on the 10th of October.
