The Darkest Universe is the new film from BAFTA nominated directors Tom Kingsley and Will Sharpe. Their debut film, Black Pond, got a very positive critical reception on its release and The Darkest Universe looks set to cement their reputation with a film that has been described as quirky, funny and totally original.
The film stars Will Sharpe alongside Joe Thomas and Sophie Di Martino. It also features some of the best UK comedy actors including Chris Langham, Simon Bird, Jonny Sweet and Jamie Demetriou.
It is the story of Zac who goes in search of his sister who has gone missing, along with her boyfriend, in mysterious circumstances. Zac’s journey continues with no result in sight and he starts to lose the plot until he makes some startling discoveries that make him reassess what may have happened to the missing couple.
The Darkest Universe is in UK cinemas on the 4th of November.
